The opening scene of this tv drama starts which a person sitting on a bench with scrubs and surgical shoes. This indicates that the show is filmed in a hospital and the show would most likely be a medical series. The surgical tools showed also suggests that the show would include acts of conducting surgery. The woman in the black dress indicates that the drama revolves around a specific character who is a woman. The opening scene is also meant to show the struggle of balancing the character's social life and her job as a doctor/surgeon. The feet shown at the end of the credits emphasizes a love interest which everyone knows love could be quite complicated. Finally, the music choice. The main lyrics 'Nobody knows where they might end up' tells the audience that there will be many twists, turns, and complications in this tv show, which is widely expected for a tv drama.

The Proud Family

This famous children's cartoon explores the life of Penny Proud and her adventures with her family and friends. The opening scene begins with a transition of shots of each of Penny's family members. She is then shown talking on the phone when her siblings tug on her pigtails which reveals the common sibling disputes that occurs between most siblings. She is even more frustrated when the mom coddles the baby as if the baby has done nothing wrong. She then goes to take her revenge on the other baby when juice is sprayed in her face. All these acts depict what occurs between siblings in a family and this is another way of showing their love for each other. As the dad get ready to eat, he is tricked by Penny, and she eats his food. She kisses him and waves goodbye as she leaves with her friends. I am not entirely sure what to take from this, but you can convey that even though kids may be tricky and sneaky they will always love you. During the family photo, many people arrive at the door to be let in but is shut out by the dad because they weren't family. The audience was given a chance to meet the people who would appear in the show regularly. The clip of the grandma and her dog just added more humor to the scene. In the end, they all come together for the group photo where the dad is bitten by the dog as it violently growls at him. The music was performed in a soft, happy tone and sings about family.

Supergirl

This action, drama, superhero fiction opens with a monologue by Kara Danvers/Kara Zor-El who is Supergirl. The introduction is narrated by present day Kara and tells her story of how she escaped from Krypton as it was being destroyed when she was younger. She was sent to earth as a protector for her little cousin, Kal-El. On the journey, her pod got knocked off course and she was stranded in space for many years until she crash landed on Earth. When she arrived her cousin was very much older than her and called himself 'Superman'. She was raised by the same family that raised Kal/Clark. She also told that one day she was forced to reveal her powers to the world to save an airplane from crashing and now she works with her adopted sister at the DEO and has a job at Catco Worldwide Media as assistant to the media mogul, Cat Grant. The audio used in this opening scene is very heroic and sets the mood for the story. 

Criminal Minds

The opening scene to this mystery crime tv show begins with intense mystery-like music. As it introduces the actors, multiple pictures of murder cases, mugshots, and yellow crime tapes occurs on the screen which allows the reader I infer that this show is associated with solving crimes. Solving crimes are most correlated law enforcement such as the FBI.
